Welcome to our Council’s Vocations virtual fundraiser, our fifth annual event.  This fundraiser will end on Friday, October 31, 2025. The Council will be donating $2,000 to each of three Seminarians to help defray the cost of their seminary education, thus our fundraising goal is $6,000.

You can donate online or by mailing in a check. You can also make a bid on some excellent silent auction items with a chance to get something back from your donation. Click on the link to view this year's fundraiser details: 2025 Vocations Fundraiser

Our 3 Seminarians are Joshua Theisen, Nicholas Couture and Peter Kay. We all know how important it is to pray for new priests in our country. Now, with this fundraiser, you have the opportunity to help these 3 men become priests by donating to this fundraiser. See our Supporting Seminarians page for more information on these 3 Seminarians and an update on their studies and activities.

May God bless you for your generosity.

Knight of the Month for September: Nick Leon

Nick has been a notably active Brother Knight since joining our council a few months ago. His pleasant demeanor and earnest volunteerism have quickly “put him on the map” in our council. He and his lovely wife Chloe have been awarded Family of the Month already, and he has committed to assisting with media duties, such as: Bishop Grady KofC Website and Pinta Log. His existing experience in leadership from his previous Council (Deltona 6584) has been a boon for us, as his participation increases. We are blessed to have him in our Council and look forward to his continued pursuits!

Family of the Month for September:  Paul and Terry Bouchard Family

Paul and Terry have been active parishioners for decades with their son and daughter having gone through SMM School. Terry was a beloved art teacher at SMM School for several years. Paul was a core team member for Discovering Christ, ran several men’s prayer groups, and has a long history of ministry involvement (including Kairos Prison Ministry) and is currently a member of the SMM Pastoral Council. They have been greeters and ushers for the past few years, making everyone welcome. We are blessed and edified by their faithful example!  We applaud them for their strong example they set for all families in our community!
